Day 2: The best of Paris / Louvre Museum / River Cruise / Notre Dame
This Paris walking tour allows you to spend an attraction-filled half day exploring the old heart of Paris under the guidance of a local expert. You’ll meet your guide in front of the fountain at Place Saint-Michel. From there your guide will take you to the site of Notre Dame explaining its fascinating 850 years of history, secrets and mysteries. See how this historic structure still stands proud after the recent fire and discover what the future holds for this magnificent building.
Your Paris walking tour continues in the picturesque lanes of the Île de la Cite and Latin Quarter, where you’ll see iconic buildings, like the Conciergerie, and learn about some of the historic personalities that strolled these streets before you. Visit the impressive church of St. Germain l’Auxerrois built in the 13th century. At the end of the tour, you will board a Seine river cruise to enjoy a relaxing ride and enjoy the city from the water.
You will have free time for lunch, before reaching the Louvre Museum and meeting your guide. Day 3: Day at leisure in Paris or optional Excursion to Versailles
Today Day at leisure in the charming city Paris or noptional Excursion to Versailles (additional Fee).
Today you will explore the magnificent Palace of Versailles with its luxuriant gardens. King Louis XIV, known as “the Sun” was the creative force of Versailles. He turned Versailles into a sumptuous estate and the symbol of absolute monarchy in the 17th century. Your guide will introduce to you the State Apartments with its 8 rooms, the Hall of Mirrors, the King and Queens’ apartments and since July 2006 some new rooms recently renovated, the Royal Chapel and the Royal Opera, then you will explore the Gardens and the Park.

Day 4: High-Speed Train to Aix en Provence
Independent transfer to Paris Station to board your high-speed train to Aix-en-Provence, where you will arrive in about 3 hours. Upon arrival, reach independently your hotel.

Day 5: Provence Discovery – Provence’s UNESCO World Heritage sites
Provence enchants travellers for centuries with its extraordinary landscapes, charming hilltop village, ancient monuments, and last but not least, great views. Meet your expert driver-guide today and explore Provence’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, starting in the Alpilles mountain range. Settled on a rugged spur commanding the valley, the old village of Les Baux de Provence will accompany you on a memorable journey into the past. Continue to perfectly preserved remains of the Roman aqueduct, which supplied water to the city of Nîmes, the Pont du Gard. Driving by the docks within the Rhône river and the medieval walls, you will access the noble city of the Popes, Avignon. The town has everything to fascinate with its “Art de Vivre” and superb architectural heritage. Here you will have the opportunity to visit ( on your own) the Palais des Papes, the largest Gothic palace in Europe and epicentre of the city. It was the residence of pontifical sovereigns during the 14th century, an exclusive witness of the ancient times with its staterooms, chapels, cloisters, private papal apartments with incredible numbers frescoes, and more. During this fantastic day, you will also savour the wines of the Rhône river valley in the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with its castle overlooking the vineyard.

Day 6: Discovery the beautiful Town Aix en Provence
Aix is a city of elegance, an open-air history book, with its Mediterranean light and temperate climate, charming streets and lively squares. The brilliant skies, golden stone facades, fountains, and shadow combined with the gentle way of life make this city an icon of “bon vivre”, how locals call the “good living”. Aix en Provence is also full of culinary surprises. Escorted by your local and expert guide, discover its heritage, the picturesque stalls of typical provençal markets and enjoy the local specialities. Enjoy a historical and tasty stroll to discover the local culture and culinary tradition. Walk along the Mirabeau avenue, marked with its splendid fountains, view the facades of elegant Renaissance mansions, discover the places where Paul Cézanne used to spend his days. You will savour a black or green tapenade toast, taste a delicious piece of cheese, sip the wine of a provençal PDO, and try some Nougat, the famous local sweet.
